Xia Yicheng

Xia Yicheng is a member of the Class of 2028 at the High School Affiliated to Peking University. He has studied Latin since 2022 and founded the Chickpea Club at his school in 2025, focusing on textual analysis and discussion of the Aeneid. In 2026, he established the Chickpea Alliance as an academic platform for students of Classics to exchange ideas and support one another’s research. His own academic interests include early Roman imperial literature, poetry, Greco-Roman mythology, and ancient Indian religion and philosophy.
